Summer comes suddenly after a cold wet spring; vibrant air, rushing water. Here the brackish fresh water mixes each tide with the clean salt water coming in - as the tide retreats, the stream rushes out over the stones. Seaweed and flotsam pile high on the berm after the winter storms.
The Bay stretches out ahead, alive with sea birds, sailors and families of seals.
