The late afternoon sun slants low in November. Colors alight and change in moments.
This painting tries to express the illumination of the Northern end of Bean Island, a yellow light catching the rim of island shore, and the pink sky reflected in shallows of the main land seaweed covered rocks.
Dram Island to the right of Sorrento Harbor is already deep in shadow.
