Low Tide in Stonington
A new motif for me - although such a paintable Maine town, I learned painters buy homes there to enjoy (and paint) the view of the Reach all summer!
The tide went out and worked its way back in- the sun moved from late morning toward my right, into afternoon.
I learned several things, one of which is an apple in a mesh bag put near turpentine covered paper towels will absorb the taste of turpentine and be inedible.
Today, finishing in the studio, struggles and solutions. Absorbed, with no sense of time, painting is a mysterious passion.
