Growing peaches in Maine is an act of wild abandon; for a decade I was successful- small trees in my door yard produced over flowing baskets of the most delicious peaches I had ever tasted. This painting was set aside, almost finished.
Recently completed, it has inspired my planting of two new tiny trees...and reawaked my vision of a peach orchard.
