The Hancock Point Wharf

Painted on a salvaged fragment of the Hancock Point Wharf. In January of 2024 two massive storms hit the Maine Coast at high tide 3 days apart. The first storm took out many piers along the Maine Coast, and the second storm inflicted even more damage on structures remaining and the shoreline.
This work is from the memory of the warm summer days, the old gray pier, the boats, the gulls-
