In November the sun stays low, and the light often plays off the water. This image captures the last few working boats left at mooring, and the flat floats where the fishermen store gear during the better weather. The falling tide is seen in the foreground and as a thin tongue of dark paint in the distance " off the point". The wharf fades into the darkness of the evergreens.
